I met Emma very briefly on a group shoot a while ago. I grabbed ten minutes with her at the end of the day and was surprised to find out that this was her first ever shoot as a model. I loved her look, so planned to work with her again. We discussed clothing, hair and make up and I set about finding a suitable location. I drive passed a run down barn most days and had always wanted to do a shoot there, so I knocked on the door and asked the owners for permission. We got a yes. On the day of the shoot, rain was forecasted but we went ahead as planned. We did most of the photographs outside in natural light, working together to try different poses and finding areas which complimented Emma’s outfits. Eventually that horrid, fine drizzle set in and we decided to move indoors to try something different. Shooting inside with flash gave a whole different look to the shots. Emma was fab to work with so watch this space for more work with this model.
